Aside from featuring German music and food from area restaurants, the event’s beer selections will focus on Meadowlands area microbreweries, including:
- Alementary Brewing Company, Hackensack;
- Bolero Snort Brewery, Ridgefield Park;
- Brix City Brewing, Little Ferry, and
- Departed Soles Brewing Company, Jersey City.
Admission to the Oktoberfest Traditions is $20 in advance; $25 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance call 201-321-2756.
The Rutherford Elks Club is a 48 Ames Ave., Rutherford.
All proceeds go to help support the ongoing work of the Meadowlands Museum, which preserves and exhibits out Meadowlands area history and culture.
The Meadowlands Museum is at 91 Crane Ave., Rutherford, in one of the oldest farm houses of the area. The Museum is open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 am-3 pm.
